Alternative to bearings for tiny robots
Quick video talking about rolling contact/compliant joints. These emulate how joints in nature work (two rolling surfaces held together with tension).

That's pretty cool. I have to wonder how well it does in torsion?
BONES?
This is an amazing and very detailed video! Loved it! If I could give one suggestion though, I think it would be less distracting if you kept the same tone to the voice throughout any sentence, instead of starting each line with a high pitch and then ending them with a really deep voice. Anyways, beautiful video!
Was that... Was that a rickroll?
Man, I’m way behind on my robot studies I’m still on the weights and sand power section.
Arduinos are coming back
That explains why people sound bad on calls
So it's a digital microscope that works like a tattoo machine, could have saved alot of time just saying that.....
Great video.Thank you for all your hard work to teach us something:D
Is it possible to replace it with Graphene?
Project paper clip
Keep this in mind when looking for bugs.
Georgeous inventation!
Stop lyin. It's footage from a paint gun filled with water. You can confirmed that by the top nub, wich also has 2 to 3 holes, from which air is pressured out at around 3 to 5 atmospheres, with high volume, to even out the spray pattern, for even coating. To be fair, it's a old model. The newer models use the needle system, wich have better control over the amount of paint being applied. Injector plates of rocket engines are never tested in a singular configuration, because at high pressures and flow rates, every Injector interacts with its neighbours, and they can create turbulence, wich can lead to hotspots. If this shit would be that easy, I already would be on the moon bro.
Oh I wrote a whole thesis about near field ftir and snom but in insulators. Weird to just bump into the same subject on yt
I can’t believe this is free to watch 😮
If anyone survived WW3, all the know how to make this cheap tech will be lost. Even if IC fabrication plants survived (unlikely), nobody would be around to operate them. Humanity will surely decline into a new kind of Stone Age. Just think of all the centuries of knowledge required just to produce a pair of socks. We would lose all of that knowledge.
Long to engineer, cheap to make, probably can use the old 150-200nm tools
Wow this is cool. I thought silicone were all flexing?😊
Ah yes the ray charles-o-matic
So why don’t we?
spies have it so easy nowadays
So the strings are like tendons. Awesome.
"Clever" electronics, I'd say! 👍

10$ 😂😂 here we get it for 2-3$
Amateur my ass, you doing some sci fi thing there friend 😂. Excellent job in this video by the way, very cool
90 degree angles, proceeds to show 45 degree angles
That's pretty good mate
i like memes
It's so small they forgot to put the quality in.
I'd never understood this technology until you've enlightened me. Thank you.
trash print
I can only repeat this: nature is a monster, not a mother (or a father). Please do not personify nature as having motherly or fatherly traits. Please do not worship or glorify nature in any way. It is destructive and cruel in every way. A monster-cloaked in a flowery cape of deception. 😠
Impossible? They have been using wax since there was metal casting.. It's called the Lost Wax Method.. Chances are your car's engine was cast using this "trick|".. A Totally Traditional method !
What in the Monte Carlo bullshit is this?
Looks like James Wharram rudder lashings.
This looks so much like a knee and it's unsettling
The government has had this for 30 years or so.
🔥🔥🔥
The real microphone
What am i looking at?
“Accidental Oxide” would be a great math funk album title.
that is insane makes me look different to my drone flightcontroller
Graphene can do anything but leave the lab as they say
Compliant mechanism.
Great video! I am wondering if there are any difficulties precicely positioning them before braiding? Because it feels to me that some little misplacement can affect the performance significantly. So I was wondering if You are using any sort of mechanism for easier precise placement or whether it's necessary at all? Thank you! Keep up the great work!
The CIA would have killed for a wireless mic that small in the 60s
